The regular season is over and the Weekend Championship has arrived. The university football race is at its last turning point.
Is there room for last-minute chaos that would reverse the playoff picture? There are four undefeated teams and three Power 5 teams are defeated for the weekend.
Championship Weekend: a reason to watch every game
We are only a week away from December 2nd, when the last pairings are announced. With this in mind, here are the four teams present, the first two and one to watch before the conference championship games:
Four in
1. Alabama (12-0)
Tua Tagovailoa left her mark on the Iron Bowl in a second 35-point period that was part of a 52-21 burst against Auburn. Five different Crimson Tide players have earned a touchdown pass, and Nick Saban has now Alabama in his seventh league league game since taking office. The tide is 5-1 in this match under Saban. Even with a defeat, Alabama could still be present.
2. Clemson (12-0)
The Tigers completed another undefeated regular season under Dabo Swinney with a 56-35 win over South Carolina. They now have a chance to win a fourth consecutive title of ACC champion, this one against Pitt. The Tigers rushed for seven touchdowns against the Gamecocks, and Trevor Lawrence finished the regular season with 22 touchdowns and four interceptions.
3. Our Lady (12-0)
The Irish are in the game. That's right, after a 24-17 win against USC, this team will play in the playoffs. There is no solid argument to prevent Our Lady from returning, but we will wonder if Notre Dame should attend a conference, since the Irish do not play a conference league match. It's a good rebuke for another day, but Brian Kelly deserves credit for building an impressive list that will rival his next opponent.
4. Georgia (11-1)
Georgia will occupy a prime spot for at least a week before the SEC championship match, a rematch of last year's College Football Playoff championship with Alabama. This is a chance for the Bulldogs to win consecutive conference championships. Georgia has allowed 18.4 points per game since the loss to LSU. This defense will have its biggest test against Crimson Tide.

5A. Oklahoma (11-1)
The Sooners clinched their ticket to the Big 12 championship with a 59-56 victory over West Virginia, and Kyler Murray continued his Heisman run with 478 rushing yards. The Oklahoma defense continues to be questioned after yielding more than 40 points for the fourth consecutive game. Now, the Sooners have the chance to fix their only spot in the Big 12 championship game against Texas.
5B. State of Ohio (11-1)
Leave the arguments with the Sooners begin. The Buckeyes picked the right time to look like a playoff contender in a 62-39 loss to their Michigan rival. Dwayne Haskins has resumed his way into the Heisman Trophy discussion and Urban Meyer has improved to 7-0 in The Game. The Buckeyes now have the opportunity to win a third Big Ten title under Meyer against Northwestern in Indianapolis.
One to watch
7. UCF (11-0)
The Knights completed a second unbeaten regular season with a 38-10 win over South Florida and will face Memphis for the second consecutive season in the US Conference championship game. But the story is that of the wicked quarterback wounded in the leg, McKenzie Milton, in the second quarter of the victory against the Bulls. The playoff committee takes into account injuries in the team standings, which is a blow to the hopes of the playoff Knights.
