For anyone who loves sci-fi, superhero or fantasy movies, there's no bigger event than Comic-Con International at San Diego. projects.
Major announcements are made, great trailers are coming out, and the casting and creative crews of so many famous movies and television series travel to San Diego to promote their projects and – in some cases – mingle fans who love their work. The Trailers
As always, there have been huge movie and television trailers that started during Comic-Con. the first look (in some cases) on the projects that they are most eager to see.
We have compiled a list of our favorite Comic-Con trailers this year, including Warner Bros.'s first Aquaman. Pictures ] trailer (see above) and the highly anticipated Glass trailer of Mr. Night Shyamalan. Although these trailers were teased before the concert (and they lived up to expectations), there were also some surprises, including the first trailer of the upcoming WB superhero movie , Shazam! two sci-fi series beginning their second seasons: Star Trek: Discovery and The Orville .
Star Trek spinoffs
During his Friday panel for Star Trek: Discovery CBS revealed that the success of his latest Star Trek series led the network to order a new series, Short Treks . Plans for several Star Trek spinoffs were first announced by CBS in June, but Short Treks is the first of these series to have an announced title and some concrete details confirmed.
The derivative series Short Treks will consist of four episodes, each episode lasting only 10 to 15 minutes. The episodes will focus on some characters from Discovery and the larger universe of Star Trek, including an episode exploring Starfleet's early service to Saru (pictured), the extraterrestrial character of Doug Jones in the series
. Short Treks should begin in the fall.
Thanks for 'The Expanse & # 39;
The cancellation and collection of science fiction series The Expanse made headlines in May, and the cast and the show team clearly understand that the audience of Comic-Con probably had a lot to do with the show to find a new home at Amazon Studios. During the panel of Amazon at Comic-Con, the streaming video platform (and the producer) started a video made by the cast and the team of The Expanse thanking the fans for their support.
The fourth season of the series is scheduled for premiere on Amazon Prime Video in 2019.

Although the images projected during the panel do not have have been published online, there are many descriptions (see above) that have found their way out of San Diego, and it looks like the sequel is even more terrifying than its predecessor.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars & # 39; continue
Disney and Lucasfilm were not very present at Comic-Con this year, but that did not stop the studios from dropping a big ad.

A preview of "Doctor Who".
During the BBC America panel at Comic-Con, the first comprehensive overview for Doctor Who's upcoming season finally debuted.
The new season of the long-running series presents the first woman to direct the show, with Jodie Whittaker taking over the title role of Peter Capaldi.
