The seasons are changing in this world, just like Biebers. Hot goes cold goes hot; dry goes to sweetness and again; and Justin Bieber? It evolves too. One day, he's just a boy singing "Baby" at Buckingham Palace, and the next day he gestures to virility, singing "Cold Water," a Major Lazer and MO collaboration, perhaps with his wife, maybe engaged, Hailey Baldwin, at Buckingham Palace. Where does the weather go in there?
This is Bieber, which is, to be clear, my Prime Minister, in 2010, promoting an album around the world:
And here he is, yesterday, Tuesday, in serenade a small group with some songs.
And here is the wonder of the boy Canuck interrupting his song to say, "I love you, baby. I like you so much. . . This girl, there is the love of my life. He means Baldwin!
Yes, Bieber has changed in eight years. His hair is the color of wheat now, and his clothes are much more saggy and riddled with nifty holes. It looks less clear. And yet, even though he has lived hundreds of lives in his 24 years of existence, he eventually returned to Buckingham Palace. Maybe he has not changed at all in any way. Maybe we are too easily deceived by a change of wardrobe and facial hair. Maybe he just moved around the sun, landing on all the old places he once knew. Bieber may not have been married to a Baldwin then. So at least it's different.
Anyway, in the light of these dog days, as we approach the next season, and the next, it's hard to know what will happen to the summer of the commitments. Are Bieber and Baldwin really married? Does it matter? Sometimes it is enough to declare it in front of strangers and paparazzi and to share a song at the end of September.

When was the last time you saw a celebrity get haircut (not by Jen Atkin somewhere in L.A.)? It's so intimate. He is wearing a blouse. Baldwin is there for emotional support. Nobody has told him yet that straws are illegal. It's a masterpiece.

If you compare the Rubik's Cube in this series of photos to that of August 6th, you will see an improvement. Maybe all these photos are supposed to communicate an intellectual evolution. Regardless, he betrays no sign that he understands how to dress for the wet New York dregs.

Maybe Bieber has never known how to dress for the weather. Maybe the weather is theoretical. It may be a statement about his life inside, forever condemned to an air-conditioned and artificially calibrated existence, because he is not really allowed to go out except for those walks. the Daily mail published a video showing Bieber asking Baldwin to leave the US. then the dads can have their shot. It lasted a few seconds, but everyone was very cordial. And then in the air conditioning they went. Curious.
