Real world politics went from stupid House of cards stupid Scandal.

Congressman Paul Gosar of Arizona is not popular with his family. His Democratic opponent, David Brill, issued an advertising campaign in which six of Gosar's brothers and sisters tore him up, saying unequivocally that he did not care about the inhabitants of his rural district.

The ad is dramatic and extremely memorable, both by its "oh shit" revelation and the staggering level of pettiness that six of Gosar's nine siblings have to decide it's so vile for them to talk about on television . And as an answer, Gosar was not willing to take the main road, passing them over the weekend:

Gosar could have managed easily because he decided it was inconceivable to attack his family members. But since he is a dedicated and noisy Donald Trump lackey, he follows him afterwards by fetching members of his own family. There is probably more bad press in the future because apparently the Brill campaign has done more than an announcement. According to Phoenix New Times:

The campaign revealed ads during a fundraiser held at First Studio in Phoenix on Thursday night. In them, six of Gosar's brothers and sisters – Tim, Jennifer, Gaston, Joan, Grace and David – say that their brother's positions on immigration, the environment and health care have actually torn their family. They condemn their brother in striking terms.

In a video, Grace Gosar says, "It would be difficult to see my brother as a racist."

To his credit, he has the support of his mother. So, at least three of the brothers and sisters who hate him take it away.
