WASHINGTON DCOn Thursday morning, by phone, MP Mo Brooks congratulated Jody Singer on her appointment as director of NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville. Congressman Brooks is Vice Chair of the Space Subcommittee of the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology, and Director Singer has been Acting Director of Marshall since July.

MP Brooks said, "I congratulate Jody for being appointed director of the Marshall Space Flight Center. Marshall is one of NASA's first installations, and the center's unique capabilities are essential to almost every NASA mission. With a 30-year career at NASA, most recently as acting director of Marshall, Jody has extensive experience and extensive knowledge to lead the center during this exciting return to deep space exploration. . A graduate of Hartselle, Alabama and the University of Alabama, Jody is home to Marshall, in the Tennessee Valley.
