The songs were raining everywhere on Heinz Field on Sunday every time he touched the ball.
Conner. Conner. Conner. Conner.
Steelers fans have repeatedly chanted the name of James Conner, paying homage to the attacking midfielder who was running a clinic on the field.
And this clinic, this performance, did not go unnoticed.
Conner was named AFC Week Offensive Player for his performance in a 33-18 win against the Cleveland Browns.
Conner carried the ball 24 times for 146 yards, averaging 6.1 yards and two touchdowns. Conner added five receptions for 66 yards for a total of 212 yards from the scrum.
"I'm just doing what I like doing," said Conner. "I'm just trying to be in the right places for Ben (Roethlisberger) with the checks in the passing game, and just trying to put the ball in the right places in the right game."

Conner also made his way into the Steelers record book, becoming the first player in the team's history to run at least 100 yards and two touchdowns in three straight games.
"He did a lot of good things, run the ball and catch the ball for us," said Maurkice Pouncey. "He just looks good all around and turns around, he takes it very seriously and his preparation is very good, I can not say enough about him."
This is the first time in his career that Conner has won the AFC Offensive Player of the Week title.
