Fans have waited nearly two years for the return of former UFC champion Conor McGregor in the Octagon. That will happen soon enough, when the Irishman would go into the cage with current UFC lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov, at UFC 229 on October 6 in Las Vegas.
McGregor was unusually quiet in the run up to the fight. He is usually the one leading the charge before the fight, but with Nurmagomedov, McGregor was very selective with his public comments, preferring to stay more or less in the shadows, perfecting his skills for the undefeated Dagestani fighter.
Although many insiders thought McGregor could move to Las Vegas early in the training process, he unveiled this week's private training footage that clearly shows that he is working hard at his home from SBG Ireland to Dublin.
