Conor McGregor's scheduled attendance on Thursday marks his first appearance to promote the October 6 showdown against lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.

In the absence of a press tour, the UFC used the attack on a combat bus at UFC 223 that briefly disembarked McGregor in jail as the centerpiece of his promotion for the event.

Thursday's presentation will take place at Radio City Music Hall in New York at 5pm. AND.

McGregor is hoping to regain the weight title that he has never lost, defying defensive champion Nurmagomedov of 155 pounds in UFC 229.
