Surveillance footage taken inside a Brooklyn bodega where a white woman called the police officers of a 9-year-old boy, claiming that he had grabbed her buttocks, showed that the child did not put his hand on the woman.
The video shows Teresa Klein standing at the Sahara Deli Market counter in Flatbush on Wednesday, paying for two bags of cat litter, as the boy followed her out of the store, followed by her mother.
The boy was carrying a backpack and a large plastic bag in Cookie's department store across the street, and the bag seems to be brushing Klein as he passes.
Klein turns immediately and starts arguing with the family.
A deli worker told The Post on Friday: "He was going out with his mother and had accidentally erased it. His mother was right behind him.
Mobile-phone footage of the meeting that followed, during which Klein called the police to the boy as he screamed, turned to virality this week, giving Klein the nickname "Cornerstore Caroline" of the cops. on African-Americans for seemingly minor incidents.
"Her mother said she was going to call the police. Me and my son were recording, thinking that white [woman] call the police, who knows, maybe the mother could go to jail, "said client Joni Torian, a witness to the conflict.
"The mother was right behind him when she said that he had caught her very flat behind. No other mother will let her child sexually assault a woman. [The customer] started shouting: "Miss, you have to watch your son, he's caught my ass." It was pretty funny at first, but then she said, "I'll call the cops."
