Could Notre Dame 3 wear green jerseys against Florida State on Saturday? It certainly looks like this after a Twitter post on Thursday night.
The school tweeted a video in which several players entered coach Brian Kelly's office to "ask" the team to wear green for the last home game of the season.

Notre Dame has worn green jerseys five times in Brian Kelly's tenure, though the latest one is for a 2015 Shamrock Series match against Boston College at Fenway Park. The last time Notre Dame wore green sweaters of traditional appearance, it was in 2011 and the school no longer wore green sweaters at Notre Dame stadium since 2007, under the direction of Charlie Weis.
The Saturday night game would be the last chance for the Irish to wear green in 2018 outside of a bowl match. Our Lady wears Yankees-themed jerseys to face Syracuse in a week and there is little chance that the Irish are moving away from the white jersey tradition on the road to USC to finish the season.
The green jerseys would also add something to the game compared to the Seminoles. Yes, Notre Dame is playing for his career in the playoffs, but preparation for the game has been non-existent thanks to the struggles of Florida State in 2018 and the absence of Fighting Irish QB Ian Book.
