Count Thomas Seahawks breaks his leg in contract negotiations

The controversy surrounding Seattle Seahawks' security, Earl Thomas III, has been more controversial.

Thomas, who led controversial talks over a contract extension, broke his leg Sunday in his team's game against the Arizona Cardinals. As Thomas left the field, he lifted the middle finger with his right hand and seemed to point him toward the Seahawks' bench.

The injury is likely to end Thomas's nine-year career in Seattle with six appearances at the Pro Bowl and a Super Bowl title. He was the last member of the Boom Legion, the dominant defensive field of the league for several years.
