The United States Coast Guard responded to a cruise ship that lost power at Buzzards Bay on Friday afternoon.
Sky 5 showed the big ship named "Star Pride" stuck about 3 miles from Horseneck Beach in Westport.
The Coast Guard said there were about 350 people aboard the 440-foot luxury cruise ship.
According to Windstar Cruises, the vessel suffered a loss of cooling water for the engines, causing an automatic shutdown of propulsion engines and auxiliary engines when navigating Buzzards Bay on Friday afternoon.
"During the time the vessel was down, the Star Pride was powered by a standby generator, including navigation equipment and essential safety systems, as well as the basic comfort of the passengers and crew" .
The company indicated that the cause of the shutdown had been identified and corrected and that the electricity had been restored and that all ship operations took place approximately two hours later.
"At no time were the 191 passengers and 160 crew members in danger," the company said in a statement.
The ship was on a 17-day cruise from Reykjavik to New York. It was expected that the ship would soon resume its cruise to New York.
No case of injury has been reported.
