Cruise worker who has overboard water probably trampled for 22 hours

A cruiser who passed overboard and apparently strode the water for 22 hours was in a steady state on Monday, one day after being rescued by a crew from another ship cruise. Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line, said in a statement:

According to the US Coast Guard, the 33-year-old crew member went to sea around 3:20 pm. Saturday of the Norwegian getaway, about 28 miles northwest of Pinar del Rio, Cuba. The agency suspended the search Saturday night after hours of searching.

AnnMarie Matthews Carnival spokeswoman told the Associated Press that the man had no safety devices when he was collected by the Carnival Glory and they "can only suspect"
