The forecasts for Connecticut change a little for tonight, Monday morning and Tuesday. It now seems that even though a light snow is possible in north Connecticut late tonight and early Monday, no real accumulation is expected. The light snow is expected to turn into heavy rain early Monday morning.
Initially, the NWS provided up to two inches of snow Monday morning for Hartford, Tolland and Windham Countiesbut now no accumulation is expected. Inner areas of southern Connecticut could see snowflakes tonight also but it will be mostly light rain showers without snow accumulation.
And as for Tuesday, a slight snow accumulation is still possible for interior sections of southern Connecticut, but the immediate coast will simply see plain rain. The most accumulated snow is expected Tuesday in northern Connecticut.
And then, on Thanksgiving day, temperatures drop dramatically and daytime temperatures will only be in the 20s and the wind chill factor will give a much colder feeling. Time will fall in the teens on Thanksgiving night. Winter has decided to arrive early in Connecticut this year.
