Donuts fly into a small business near Los Angeles while guests try to help the owner take the time to visit his sick wife.

John Chhan has been welcoming Donut City customers to Seal Beach every day for the past 30 years. But last month, Chhan's wife, Stella, suffered a cerebral aneurysm. She is recovering in a nursing home.

Chhan, who started working at 4.30am, spent long hours at the shop. The clients decided to give him more time to visit his wife.

Customers came for dozens of donuts. Thursday, the trays were cleaned at 10:30, allowing Chhan to close the store.

Chhan says that he is grateful beyond words.
