Things got a little too hairy for Alex Bregman in the middle of the Houston Astros 11-3 win over the Kansas City Royals on Sunday (June 24th).
The former LSU star started the match with a mustache. He did not finish the game with one.
At some point between the second and fourth inning, Bregman found time to return to the club and shave his upper lip. The fast follicular change was subtle, but did not go beyond the people of Cut4.

Bregman had been mired in a crisis, with a blow in his last 10 bats. He made a basic charge run in a second run of eight points, and then he apparently decided to shave at some point before his fight in the fourth quarter.
In his first post-mustache batting, Bregman flew to the center of the field. He finished the day 0-to-4, dropping his batting average of the season at .259 – the lowest since May 19.
After the match, Bregman did not have much to say about the new design of his hair, telling the Houston Chronicle: "I just decided to do it.
Thrower Gerritt Cole amused himself a bit more.
