This is the best time of year to get the best price on a big and bright new screen, but as usual, all the deals you see are not a good deal and all the TVs are not worth your money. It is there that CNET intervenes.

Do not waste your money on these Black Friday TV deals …

We will highlight not only the cheapest TVs we find – the famous in-store "door alarms" designed to get you to the retailer on Friday morning – but also offers on TVs that we actually recommend. The best part? You do not have to wait for Black Friday or even visit a store. Many of our favorite TVs are available online at the lowest prices of the year right now.

Before moving on to offers, here's what you need to know.

  • This update is current at Friday, November 24 at 10:00 am, Paris time.
  • It integrates Amazon's sales information, Best Buy, Walmart, Target, Costco, Sam's Club, BJ's, Dell, Shopko, Meijer, JCPenney, Belk and Samsung.com.
  • Availability of offers varies by store and links to specific TVs in stores may not display the price of Black Friday 2018 before the start of the sale.
  • CNET may obtain a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the products listed below.

Ok, let's go.

Best deals on TVs that are actually good

We will start with the best of the best. This is the best price on the TVs we have reviewed or on TVs we know enough to recommend the price.

Roku TCL 6 Series 65-inch 65R615 Series Television: $ 900 ($ 70 savings)

http://www.cnet.com/

Sarah Tew / CNET

Store: best buy

Availability: Online and in-store now.

C & # 39; probably the best price you will get the superb 65R615 from TCL. This model is exclusive to Best Buy but identical to the one we named our favorite TV for money in 2018. You simply can not get a picture as good at a lower cost.

What makes it better than other TVs? Complete local dimming or FALD. This feature goes further than any other way to improve LCD image quality, and this TCL outperforms other FALD TVs at the lowest and the cheapest price, as well as bulky non-FALD TVs, including Samsung and LG entry-level on sale everywhere for Black. Friday.

TCL Roku Series 55 Television, Model 55R615: $ 600

Take everything we said about the 65 inch and reduce it to 55 inch size – it's still the best TV for the money, period. If you want to use voice remotely, this version is available on Amazon for $ 30 more.

65-inch Vizio P-Quantum Series, Model PQ65-F1: $ 1,500 (save $ 600)

http://www.cnet.com/

Sarah Tew / CNET

Store: Target, Best Buy, Costco, Sam's Club

Availability: see below

This is probably the best price on the best TV all year. Only available in a 65-inch format, the Quantum offers an image quality superior to that of TCL above. In fact, it's the next best thing to do for OLED TVs. And as OLED decors do not see any significant discounts this year, it's the best deal for videophiles on a budget – if that's in stock.

Availability note: Originally, this sale was $ 1,400 and Costco only (you'll find the word "PQ65-F" in Costco.com), but it's also available at Target and Best Buy for $ 1,500. at Sam's Club for a price of 1,700 USD. As of Friday, November 23, the four retailers will no longer stock online, although Sam's club has promised that it will be available on November 25th. We would not be surprised if Sam's price matches that of Costco.

In a statement sent to CNET by email, Vizio said, "We will continue to ship more supplies for the PQ65-F1 during the holidays and readers will be able to check availability at retailers such as BestBuy.com, Costco, Costco. com and Samsclub.com. "Since Best Buy is the only merchant in this group not to require membership in a club, we use the link below.

55-inch Vizio M series, model M55-F0: $ 450 (save $ 150)

http://www.cnet.com/

Sarah Tew / CNET

Store: Costco and Sam's Club

Availability: Online and in store until November 26 (but see below)

Its image is not as good – and its Smart TV system much worse – compared to the TCL 6 series, but at this price for the 55-inch format, it's definitely the highest value. This is the cheapest TV we recommend for Black Friday 2018, which got the "8" rating for image quality.

Remarks: This award is for Costco Club Clubs and Sam's Club starting on Black Friday and ending on November 25th for Sam's Club and November 26th for Costco while supplies last.

As of Saturday, November 24 at 1 pm ET, Sam's Club has listed it in stock, while Costco has noted it as being out of stock and expected to be shipped between Nov. 30 and December 7th.

Non-club options such as Target and Walmart are more expensive at $ 550; I would rather recommend the TCL 6 series for $ 50 more.

65 "Vizio M Series, Model M65-F0: $ 769 (save $ 100)

Store: Costco and Sam's Club

Availability: Online and in-store for Sam's Club until November 25th; In store only for Costco until November 26th

At this size, I always recommend paying more for the TCL 6 series, but if you are a member of a club-store and you can get this price, I will not blame you for pocketing the 100 dollars saved – The M is still a great TV. Availability is the same as the 55 inch above.

Vizio E Series: $ 310 and over

http://www.cnet.com/

Sarah Tew / CNET

We called the E series the cheapest TV for home theater, largely because it is the least expensive with full local dimming, a feature that goes further than any other way to improve the quality of home theater the LCD image. It dramatically outperforms TCL TVs (except the 6 Series) and broadcasts many of the entry-level Samsung and LG TVs shown below.

Offers and sizes are available now at many retailers, but BestBuy.com seems to have the most in stock.

43 inches for $ 310

55 inches for $ 430

65 inches for $ 630

70 inches for $ 750

It should also be mentioned that the cheaper D series is on sale in many outlets, but the picture quality will not be as good on this set as it lacks local dimming. The best alternative is the TCL S405 series.

The Vizio E series is the king of budget in image quality …

So what about these other sales of Black Friday / Cyber Monday TV?

The fact is that most TVs on sale for Black Friday / Cyber Monday fall into two distinct categories:

  • Reduced-price kits of unknown or older brands (Element, Westinghouse, Magnavox, Polaroid)
  • Entry-level or unique sets ("special purchases") of popular brands such as Samsung, LG, Sony and Vizio

We do not review any of the previous categories and very few of them, so we can not recommend them directly. That said we do not expect the performance of the Vizio E Series or the TCL 6 Series above to be superior to the Vizio Seriesand in many cases they will cost more. In other words, in the latter case, you often pay extra only for a brand name.

At the same time, the best sets of renowned brands we are looking at are also on sale, but they are not as cheap as these entry-level models.

All that being said, if you are ready to use a flyer on a cheap TV or if you really want a Samsung, a Sony or an LG instead of a Vizio or a TCL, there are many other selling prices. Here is a selection.

Cheap Black Friday, Cyber Monday Phones (which may not be good deals)

Note: This shopping tip and the links it contains come from previous Black Friday deals, which may not be available anymore.

Below you find the cheapest TVs we have found for Black Friday, whether or not we recommend it. While a few are available online, many are classic slides – in-store only during the store's Black Friday sale, available only in limited quantities.

We chose the TVs listed below from a much larger collection including just about every sale price of Black Friday TV 2018 (with the exception of Amazon, which does not include is not yet available), painstakingly created by BestBlackFriday.com employees – several stores. the links go to the details of the transaction there. If you want to see all TVs, here is all the magilla in a Google spreadsheet.

157 Black Friday 2018 television sales by size and in dollars per square inch

Note that sales prices in the higher price range are actually higher for each screen size, but we have cut them out to the cheapest major brand packages, usually Samsung and LG. Some of these offers will only be available in stores, so the same prices may not be posted online.

32-inch TVs: $ 80

  • Target, Shopko and Belk have 32-inch TVs priced at $ 80. Only Target lists a brand name: Polaroid.
walmart-40inch-hisense-tv-matt

Hisense from Walmart is the cheapest TV we have ever seen.

Walmart

Televisions 39 and 40 inches: $ 100 to $ 130

  • Walmart has a Hisense 1080 inch 40 inch TV for $ 100. As far as we know, this is the TV the least expensive of the year until now at $ 0.14 per square inch of screen. It's also cheaper per zone than any Black Friday 2017 TV we've followed.
  • Target has a 40-inch 1080p Westinghouse for $ 125.
  • Best Buy has a 39-inch Insignia and the Meijer Midwest chain of supercentres has a 40-inch Element, both at $ 130.

43-inch TVs: $ 130 to $ 280

  • Best Buy's 43-inch Fire TV rental contract, described above, is the only less than $ 200 43-inch TV. He, and all other TVs 43 inches and over on this list, is 4K resolution, but the extra pixels are not relevant at this screen size and really not worth paying extra for.
  • The next cheapest is a $ 200 Westinghouse, available from the East Coast and Ohio Wholesale Club.
  • None of the other offers beat the normal price of our favorite 43-inch TV, the TCL 43S30 ($ 220 at this time).
  • They include a LG 43UK6090 at Meijer ($ 220), the same TV at BJ ($ 260), Sam's Club, Best Buy and Target ($ 270), as well as the Samsung NU6900 / 6950 (all $ 280 ) at Best Buy, BJ's, Costco, Meijer and Target.

TVs 49 and 50 inches: $ 200 to $ 330

  • The cheapest of this range is a 49-inch Polaroid with Chromecast built-in for $ 199, courtesy of Shopko, a hypermarket with branches in about half of the US states. This price is only after a mail-in rebate.
  • Prices increase gradually from there, with an Element TV at Meijer ($ 220), a Westinghouse at Target ($ 230 – out of stock on Friday, November 23, at 3 am), a Philips at Target (250 $ – for sale) Out of stock on Friday, Nov. 23 at 3 am), a Sharp at BJ's ($ 270) and Insignia Fire TV at Best Buy mentioned above ($ 280). • And then there's the Samsung, model NU6900 / NU6950 ($ 330), available at BJ's, Best Buy, Target and Shopko (out of stock at BJ's and Target on Friday, Nov. 23, at 3 am).
screen-shot-2018-11-13-at-29-29-26-pm

Target

55-inch TVs: $ 200 to $ 400

  • There are more 55-inch TVs for sale this Black Friday than any other size, and this is also the second lowest price per screen. Target and Meijer both have 55-inch Element TVs priced at $ 200, recording just $ 0.15 per square inch of screen – the second best result of Black Friday. Better still, the Meijer is a Roku TV. (Target indicates that this article is no longer available for online shipping from Friday, November 23rd at 11pm, but it is possible that it is still available in stores.)
  • Roku TVs are also available at a price of $ 250 at other retailers. Best Buy has a Sharp LC-55LBU591U (in-store only), while Walmart substitutes for a Hisense 55R6000E (the selling price of this item is no longer available online).
  • Shopko is trying out buyers with a Polaroid for $ 300, but it's hard to sell for $ 50 more without Roku, and again, you'll need to post to get the discount.
  • The Samsung NU6900 series is again priced at $ 400 in almost every store: Best Buy, Dell, Meijer, Shopko, Target and Walmart (as of Friday, Nov. 23, 3 am in stock in stock at Target and Dell , Walmart only displayed in stores). LG charges the same price for the UK6090 series at Sam's Club.

65-inch TVs: $ 400 to $ 650

  • There are some 58- and 60-inch TV offerings, but their price per inch is much lower than the best 65-inch TVs. We ignore them here.
  • The best prices of this size come from the USD 400 (at Walmart) and Amazon Fire TV Edition (Meijer) Roku bundles mentioned above. From there, prices range from $ 530 for a Philips at BJ's.
  • The next price level is $ 600, occupied by the Samsung UN65NU6070 at Best Buy, as well as by a series of LG 65UK6090PUA devices sold by Sam's Club, Costco, Dell and Meijer.
  • Finally, there is the $ 650 Samsung 65NU6950, sold by people from BJ's, Costco, Samsung.com, Shopko and Target.

70, 75, 82 and 86 inch televisions: $ 700 to $ 2,500

  • All TVs of this size, with the exception of the Vizio E70-F3 at $ 730 at Costco, are presented by LG or Samsung, and only in a handful of stores.
  • The cheapest is the 70-inch LG 70UK6190PUB of Best Buy for $ 700 (the offer seems to be available in-store only).
  • Best Buy also offers a 75-inch LG of the same series, model 75UK6190PUB, for $ 1,000.
  • The 75-inch Samsung costs $ 1,200, model 75NU6950 / 6900, available at BJ's, Best Buy and Samsung.com. It's a relatively high cost of $ 0.50 per square inch, if you stay the course.
  • The 82-inch Samsung UN82NU800D climbs up to $ 2,500, a substantial increase of $ 0.86 per square inch, at BJ's, Costco and Best Buy.
  • Not big enough for you? The 86-inch LG 86UK6570AUA costs USD 2,500 (USD 0.79 per square inch) at Sam's Club, BJ's and Costco.

That's all for the Black Friday / Cyber Monday TV chords we've found so far. Check back for the updates we discover more.
