Dez Bryant will face his former team this season on November 29th.
Tuesday morning, the former receiver of the Dallas Cowboys worked with the New Orleans Saints. Later in the day, he signed a contract with the team, according to a tweet from NFL journalist Benjamin Albright.
A little later, Tom Pelissero from NFL.com posted this tweet.
Owner and CEO Jerry Jones made the decision to release the big receiver last spring.
While the Cowboys were at training camp, Bryant shot the franchise and several players on Twitter.
Some of these people, like linebacker Sean Lee, responded publicly.
Several members of the organization stated that they wanted quarterback Dak Prescott to be able to spread the ball.
During an appearance on the radio in October, Jerry Jones also said that the team had not registered a # 1 wide receiver for several years. However, the Cowboys traded against the wide receiver of the Oakland Raiders during their week off this season.
During the off season, Bryant rejected a contract offer from the Baltimore Ravens. He also attended a meeting with the Cleveland Browns.
In the end, he did not reach an agreement with one or the other of the teams.
Earlier this month, Bryant said he'd be willing to return to the Cowboys.
However, Jerry Jones rejected this idea.
