ABC has just revealed another competitor of the next season of Dance with the stars.
Milo Manheim, who enjoyed the fame of the original Disney Channel movie this year Zombies, will be the youngest competitor of the season 27 to 17 years old. The announcement was made Tuesday Hello America, where Manheim was joined by his partner, Witney Carson.
Sitting down with Michael Strahan, Manheim admitted that the experience had already been more difficult than expected.
"Once we started going forward, it was not as I had imagined," he said about training with Carson. "It's so much harder than I thought."
"I'm going to dance with her thinking I'm doing a great job, then I'll come back to the video and I just look awful," he added with a laugh.
But Carson – who won the Mirrorball Trophy in season 19 with partner Alfonso Ribeiro – said Manhein had "a lot of potential."
"I'm really excited," she said. "This is my tenth season in the series and it's a lucky number for me. He has personality, he has rhythm and that's all we really need.
"We have a lot of fun," added Manheim. "I can not wait to be there every day. … but she is hard.
As to whether he is ready to go to the ballroom in front of millions of viewers?
"Absolutely not," he said. "But I'll get there!"
ABC has already announced that Nancy McKeon, best known for her role as Jo Polniaczek on the NBC sitcom in 1980 The facts of life, was paired with the pro Val Chmerkovskiy dance for season 27. The full cast will be revealed on Tuesday GAM.
Season 27 of Dance with the stars first on September 24 at 8 pm ET on ABC.
