Matt Murdock comes back from the brink after the events of "Defenders" and he is ready to permanently eliminate the corruption in Hell's Kitchen.
Season 2 of "Marvel's Daredevil" left a lot of people to undo as Matt Murdock's life began to unravel. Murdock was ready to leave Hell's Kitchen behind him and his former lover, Elektra, until she was murdered by Nobu, the leader of The Hand. His best friend, Foggy, left his law firm and went to work for Jeri Horgath. Oh, and there's a good chance Kingpin also knows Murdock's secret identity. Phew.
But this is not the last time we saw Murdock, thanks to "Marvel's Defenders", which brought together Luke Cage, Daredevil, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones. In "Defenders", Murdock fights the new weapon of The Hand, the resurrected Elektra, but both are buried under a collapsed building. Although he was initially presumed dead, Murdock is soon seen bandaged and bleeding in a hospital bed, with a nun by his side who shouts something very intriguing: "Take Maggie! Tell him that he is awake.
When "Daredevil" will be back on Netflix on October 19 for season 3, it looks like it will be inspired by the comic book "Born Again", where the long-lost mother, Maggie, becomes a sister. A near-death experience. Earlier this year, "Wolf Hall" actress Joanne Whalley was confirmed in the role.
To get you excited for the new season, Netflix has released a short teaser of Season 3, in which a bloody Matt Murdock explains that if you try to contain the evil, he will find a way to come back stronger. Brief excerpts from his alter ego, Daredevil, show Murdock patrolling the rooftops of New York City, without his suit and wearing rather his Season 1 city clothes.
Watch the teaser below and discover these two new posters from season 3 of "Marvel's Daredevil".
