Netflix and Marvel have finally confirmed that Bullseye would be one of the main villains of Daredevil's season 3 at the New York Comic Con, by launching a new trailer that revealed the revelation.

"I think it's safe to say that – and that's perhaps the least well kept secret of Marvel's history – this season, we would tell the story of one of the most iconic characters, "said the director of Marvel TV, allowing the actor Wilson Bethel will be the first to pronounce the name of the villain.

"Honestly, it was one of the most incredible experiences of my life to be able to tell how Benjamin Poindexter would eventually become Bullseye," said Bethel, before star Charlie Cox gets up from his seat and rushes for draw a bubble on Bethel's forehead in Sharpie.

"Bullseye is one of the biggest villains in comics, period, and in order to fit into the emotionally honest and character-centric version of the show … we wanted to explore the path of someone who Chance Lightness or darkness could finally become this iconic character, "teased Erik Oleson. "How does Wilson Fisk turn anyone who could be a productive member of society, and who is obviously a heroic member of the FBI, into an iconic villain?" [We explore] the way Fisk could inflict psychological manipulation on him and sneak into Ben Poindexter's life in real life and as if that could happen. Marvel has left us plenty of room to do some really cool things. We really need to understand how Dex becomes this iconic character, Bullseye. "

Scenes from the trailer show Bethel playing the role of agent Benjamin "Dex" Poindexter – an FBI agent who seems to lose interest and get rid of, becoming disorganized. A slight "Dex" can be heard in the background throughout the trailer, and one can briefly see an agent representing Dex wearing a hat with a bubble.

The name Benjamin Pointdexter is a common alias for Bullseye and has already been attributed to Bethel's character in Netflix's press releases, but this is the first clear confirmation of the role Bethel would have played.

The trailer teases how Daredevil Season 3 will include tributes to a key scenario in comics where a masked man wearing Daredevil's outfit begins to mimic the real Daredevil, Matt Murdock, and commits crimes to ruin his image. You guessed it: Bullseye was the imitator of Daredevil in this comic book tale.

This confirms the speculations of the first trailer of Daredevil Season 3, where two Daredevils are seen facing each other at the end, with Murdock in his old black suit of season 1.
