It's Jean Gray's turn to have his own X-Men Universe movie, and the first trailer of "X-Men: Dark Phoenix" promises to deliver it, starring Sophie Turner as an extremely powerful mutant. .
The trailer tells of Gray's progression from an unintentional child who accidentally causes a car accident to a conflict-ridden and tumultuous young woman who seeks advice from Michael Fassbender's Magneto when she feels betrayed by James McAvoy's Professor Charles Xavier.

Turner unveiled Wednesday's "Late Late Show" trailer alongside James Corden. The release date of the film was postponed from November to February 2019 to reflect the resumption of the third act.
Jennifer Lawrence returns as Mystique, as well as Nicholas Hoult as Beast. Tye Sheridan appears as Cyclops, with Evan Peters taking over his role as Quicksilver. Jessica Chastain also joins the X-Men universe as a platinum-haired villain, Smith, who tells Gray: "You think you do not have your place here? "X-Men: Dark Phoenix" was written and directed by long-time X-Men author and producer Simon Kinberg, who wrote "X-Men: The Last Stand" in 2006.
