In a special PBS, Dave Grohl remember his time with the 90s staple food Nirvana, Kurt Cobain and how the music of Foo Fighters has been translated in modern times.

Located in a nursing home lit Rock On the Range, the Foo FightersThe last music video draws parallels with Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit".
"We want to be the band that thrills a show in a retirement home that turns into a riot," Grohl said. "It's funny because it's the antithesis of the video" Smells Like Teen Spirit "that Nirvana made 27 years ago."
Grohl also continues to remember Kurt Cobain from his days at Nirvana. Grohl reflects on the time of Cobain's death and how he influenced him to still play music today.
"When Kurt died, I remember the next day and I thought," I'm still going to live, "says Grohl. "So I'm going to live every day like it's my last. Even if it's the worst day, I'll try to appreciate it. I always feel like that. I never want to die.
