David Arquette suffers a bloody neck injury during a "match to the death" event

David Arquette may want to continue playing full time.

The star of the 47-year-old "Scream" and amateur wrestler played Friday night in Los Angeles in a fierce match-kill style, leaving the ring covered with her own blood as a result of 39, a neck injury.

This happened during a promotional match for the Game Changer Wrestling at Joey Janela 's LA Confidential. Arquette was facing wrestler Nick FN Gage.

Graphic video is quickly spread on Twitter. The sequence shows the violent encounter between Arquette and Gage, which includes various weapons and stunts. Arquette could be seen in a clip dropping Gage on folding chairs, while in another, Gage was trying to scalp Arquette with a pizza cutter.

After being hit in the head with a light tube, Arquette is immediately caught by the neck. However, he was able to continue the match. Later, he moved away from the ring covered with blood.

Arquette then tweeted that it had been "sewn" and that, in the end, "the matches to death are not my thing".

Arquette, who starred in the fight-ready film "Ready to Rumble", has already competed in the fight, notably by becoming WCW World Heavyweight Champion in 2000. Today, 18 later, Arquette told Fox News at an interview decided to make a comeback in the professional wrestling ring.

"I literally feel like Rocky, I mean as if I were in the gym, I was sweating like crazy going to the gym every day for hours, you know, getting it for me to I do not feel as easily pushed and I do not lose weight a little weight so everything is a matter of training, determination, self-confidence, "said Arquette.
