David Henrie, Disney's star, arrested for possession of firearms in Los Angeles

The former star of "Wiizards of Waverly Place", 29, was arrested for possession of firearms this morning after TSA found the gun in her carry-on.

Henrie was placed in a local jail and released on her own pledge, Pedregon added.

The actor appealed to social media to admit how "humiliated and embarrassed" he was after the incident, which he described as an accident: "I have involuntarily brought my pistol legally registered to my name at the airport ".

He continued, "I am really sorry for any problem caused, but I appreciate the efforts of TSA in implementing the safety laws that are in place to protect our beautiful country."

Henrie will be familiar to fans of "How I met your mother". In the general setting of the hit comedy, he played one of two children who listened to a Future Ted (voice over Bob Saget) as he explained how met their mother and other adventures of his early years .

His arrest comes less than a week after Henrie and his wife Maria Cahill revealed that they were together waiting for their first child. The couple, who got married in April 2017, recently discovered that they were going to have a girl during their revelation party.

Henrie also played Justin Russo in Disney's "Wizards of Waverly Place", alongside Selena Gomez. His other credits include "Grown Ups 2" and "Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2."
