Brian Stelter, host of CNN's Reliable Sources, noted Clinton's recent attacks on Fox News and wondered if they were comparable to President Donald Trump's media criticism.

Hillary Clinton took this into account in an interview with The Guardian. Here's some of what she said about Fox, "said Stelter. "He is not attacking Fox News because he looks like a wholly owned subsidiary of Trump and the Republican Party now."

In the same interview, Clinton said that Fox was promoting "great propaganda".

"The Conservatives saw this quote from Clinton and said," It attacks the press! She acts like Trump. "Do you see a similarity between his criticism and Trump's critics?" Asked Stelter in Zurawik.

Zurawik admitted that Clinton is not a defender of the press and suggested that the media should not expect politicians to come to their defense.

"Listen, Hillary Clinton, I must be honest, he was not a friend of the press," replied Zurawik. "The Clintons were not friends of the press."

"Most successful politicians are not friends of the press. Think of how her team acted at the New York Times when she reported during the campaign. Hillary Clinton is not a friend of the press and we should not look for political friends in the press, "added Zurawik.

Clinton commented on the media in his book "What Happened", accusing them of having unfairly defeated the 2016 elections by reporting on his email scandal and Wikileaks broadcasting of private e-mails from campaign president John Podesta.
