You can probably guess why Dick Grayson said "f- Batman" in the trailer of Titans.

A new clip from the DC Universe live series – unveiled at Batman Day – reveals a meeting of Robins. Dick (Brenton Thwaites), aka Nightwing / "Old" Robin, meets Jason Todd (Curran Walters), including the "new" Robin / Dick replacement.

Jason thinks that being a Boy Wonder is pretty stupid. This last remark on the jealousy of Dick.

"Jason did my job," Thwaites told EW at Jason's presentation. "When I left, I had the impression that Batman did not have a Robin, and Jason comes at a much weaker moment and basically saves me, and tells me he's the Robin who works for Batman. I guess there's a feeling of jealousy and remorse and a little anger and frustration for Jason [that role] it was to run all the negative and destructive things that Dick Grayson had just left.

He continued, "So, Dick is trying to teach him that the things he's doing and the morals he's defending are not necessarily good and that there's a lot of conflict and tension just based on what is their modus operundi – what Jason's fighting and why he's fighting crime are not necessarily the same as Dick Grayson's, and I think Dick is trying to guide him and him learn another way and Jason does not want to be part of it.

Executive producer Geoff Johns called the meeting a "lovely" character. Let's focus on this subject, instead of knowing what the origins of Jason's comics can tell us.

Titans is a much harder take on the Teen Titans Dick begins the series as a detective, who tries to distance himself from his violent past as a Batman acrobat.
