The Tennessee Titans' defensive coordinator, Dean Pees, left the sideline for the hospital during the first half of Sunday's game against the Colts of Indianapolis after having a medical problem.

Pees, 69, joined the Titans 'coaching team during the final off season after being the Baltimore Ravens' defensive coordinator from 2012 to 2017. Pees spent eight seasons in Baltimore, where he worked as a coach of linebackers before moving to the position of defensive coordinator. He won a Super Bowl title with the team in 2012.
Before joining the Ravens, he established himself as one of the best defensive coaches in the game as the New England Patriots Coordinator. He was coach of linebackers (2004-2005) and Bill Belichick's defensive coordinator (2006-2009) when Titans head coach Mike Vrabel was on display for the Patriots. during the last decade. Pees originally planned to retire in the post-season after his Ravens defensive unit finished sixth in points per game (18.9) and was in the top 10 per pass per game (213.8 ). He later changed his mind and joined the staff of the Vrabel freshman in Tennessee.
