DCF, the cops investigating while the child was left to the target

Easton Police and the Department of Childhood and Family investigate how an 18-month-old toddler was left unattended in a shopping cart at a local Target Shop parking lot .

Police said she was called to the Robert car park yesterday after 1 pm

Witnesses told police that they saw the child with two adult women and two adult men who left the area in a SUV.

Police said surveillance camera footage showed four people leaving the area in a Toyota license plate with Maine.

Around 14:07 The police received a call from an adult man claiming that he had accidentally left the child to Target.

Police said the child appeared to be unscathed and was assessed by Easton police and firefighters.

He was rushed to the Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton for further assessment, police said.
