LODI, Calif. (KCRA) – A fatal skydiving incident was reported at Lodi Parachute Center on Sunday.

The incident was confirmed by the parachuting center.

Officials from the San Joaquin County Coroner's Office went to the scene Sunday afternoon, according to the Sheriff's Department.

No other details have been published.

Sunday's death is the latest in a series of deaths and offenses at the Lodi parachuting center.

From 1999 to 2017, 15 people died while jumping from planes that had taken off from the parachuting center.

In September 2016, 20 center instructors were suspended and 120 others were informed of the need for retraining following an investigation by the United States Parachute Association.

Earlier this year, the FBI executed a search warrant at the parachuting center.

At the time, the FBI had not disclosed the link between the search warrant and what he had found, but agents were seen leaving the center with cardboard boxes and bags full bins.
