And we were not alone, as fans immediately lit up social media with shock and outrage. Jesus is still a central element of the comic book universe "The Walking Dead", alongside Rick, Maggie and Carl. Although the series continues to follow most of the highlights of the series of illustrated novels, including The Whisperers, his cast begins to be more and more different.

But actor Tom Payne of Jesus took the news very well and confessed to having Weekly entertainment that he had become a little dissatisfied with the role. Maybe he was reading comics, because this version of Jesus was much more interesting and exciting than ever in the series.

So yes, we can all agree that, over the deaths, it was a good death. But can we also agree that Jesus was one of the coolest characters of the source and that Payne had all the potential in the world to try to achieve this on a small screen. It never comes together.
