As soon as you hear about another "Halloween" movie starring Jamie Lee Curtis' horror hero Laurie Strode and the notorious villain Michael Myers, you might suspect that one of them would not end up at the end. And the new tour does not disappoint, with a fiery and action packed climax.

So who survived? Well, it's a complicated question.

After 40 years of preparing for Michael's return, Laurie finally reversed her enemy's picture of the original 'Halloween' of 1978 and lured her into her secluded house in the woods. His daughter Karen (Judy Greer) and granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) hide in a secret basement under the kitchen while Laurie faces Michael, a fight that takes place in the house and ends when Laurie is thrown a second balcony on the ground.

Here's the thing: the house is actually a deadly trap ready for Michael. Michael attacks other women and superhumanly rips the kitchen island to find Karen and Allyson. Karen screams for her mother to help her, but it's a trick: when Michael prepares to enter the bunker, Karen's frightened face turns into cold stone, she says "Gotcha" and shoots him in the head.

While Michael is stunned, Laurie (who absolutely agrees!) Comes out of nowhere to send her flying down the stairs so that Karen and Allyson can get out quickly, although Allyson has to find a knife and stab Michael when he grabs his mother's leg so Karen can get a way. Laurie blocks her exit and lights up a lot of hidden gas faucets and, with one last message "Goodbye, Michael," throws him a flare. The bunker, followed by the whole house, kisses and Michael sits there, inexplicably, while the women escape.

"The last shot of the film depicts three women who slaughtered the dragon, and the youngest of them has the knife in his hand, and there is poetry and beauty in these images. very satisfaying. "

But is it really a curtain for Michael? "As we have already seen, I can not even really say what happened to him," says Curtis. She points out that Laurie thought he had beheaded at "Halloween: H20" in 1998, but that he was not the right guy. Michael returned (as he usually does) four years later in "Halloween: Resurrection".

There are two key pieces of evidence indicating that Michael is still alive: when the camera returns home during the women's escape, he is no longer in the bunker. And just at the time of the final credits, there is heavy breathing – a sign also used in the original of 78 which indicated that he was not yet dead.

"If it's a success, you know it'll come back," says Nick Castle, who wore the mask at the first "Halloween" and plays Michael in the new movie. (He is also responsible for the heavy breathing mentioned above.) "They will milk this thing until the last piece is drained from this poor guy."
