When journalist Eddie Brock gets strange super powers from an alien symbiote, he has to release his alter ego to save his life.

"Venom" stands out from other superhero movies – since the title of Tom Hardy, parasite-anti-heroic, is a little sadistic and eats people when he's hungry – but it's not different enough to avoid the very popular credit scenes of the genre.

There are actually two very different epilogues added to "Venom", which oppose investigative journalist Eddie Brock (Hardy) – as well as the carnivorous extraterrestrial symbiont who took up residence in him, although he confers superb powers – against the evil billionaire technologies Carlton Drake (Rice Ahmed). This guy, a host for the symbiote called Riot, wants to fuse the man and the alien to create a higher species.

SPOIL ALERT! We discuss plot points until the end of "Venom", so beware if you have not seen them yet.

THIS IS YOUR FINAL WARNING. (And also a good time for a GIF showing Hardy panicked in an MRI machine.)

Let's go into them:

What does Woody Harrelson do here?

The first scene is intimately linked to Brock's close-to-the-end replica of his ex-girlfriend Anne (Michelle Williams), whom her more venomous side promises to win back. After resuming his journalistic career after defeating Drake / Riot, Brock told Anne that he got "the interview of a lifetime". And it's worth it when Brock drives his bike to San Quentin for a reunion with serial killer Cletus Kasady, portrayed by Harrelson wearing a wacky redheaded perm – the little song of musical celebrity, not the Interest in love Brock. (Anecdote: Harrelson played in the horror comedy 2009 "Zombieland" by director of "Venom" director Ruben Fleischer.)

Kasady wonders if Brock is here to discover his "dadaist arterial spray patterns," but also launches a warning: "When I get out of here, there will be carnage." That's a hint not very subtle to comic book-counterpart Kasady, who is possessed by a symbiote and becomes the carnage purple color psychopath. So, although "Venom" may not be one of the other Marvel movies yet, at least the sequel already has a bad guy.

Spider-Man is coming! (Although maybe not the one you expect.)

Venom is inextricably linked to Spidey, but even though the movie does not have Tom Holland, it offers a couple of heroes on the web. Before the credits, a cartoon board with the words "Meanwhile in another universe" launches a teaser for the animated film "Spider-Man: In the Spider-Verse" (in theaters December 14) presenting Spideys of alternative dimensions, Peter Parker (voiced by Jake Johnson) and Miles Morales (Shameik Moore).

In the scene, Miles argues with the evil Prowler through the city of New York and ends at the grave of his hero Peter Parker. Dead in this world, Miles is shocked to find in the snow a Peter stunned but alive. Before he knew what was happening, the police turned up and set off another crazy and action packed pursuit with Miles under the influence of unconscious Peter. . The two heroes find themselves flat on the street in front of a crowd. Miles wearily asks passersby to give him a hand and everyone misses them. "Thanks, New York," he moaned.
