Roses, dream and love

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone tied the wedding at a beautiful wedding on the shores of Lake Como, six years after the start of their dating. The actors met and fell in love with the sets of "Ram Leela", their first film.
The wedding was an extremely private and intimate affair, with only the close family and the friends who made it on the guest list.
The first of two ceremonies planned, a Konkani wedding was held today at Villa del Balbianello – a lakeside mansion featured in the "Star Wars" and "James Bond" movies. A Sindhi wedding will take place on Thursday.
The room, 700 years old, was adorned with white roses for the ceremony.

Meet the newlyweds

At the wedding, everything was in ivory and gold, from the decoration to the clothes of the guests and the outfits of the couple. Padukone was beautiful with a floral bun and Singh came under a brocade umbrella.
The father of the groom, Jagjit Singh Bhavnani, also retained his traditional appearance in a white dhoti-kurta.

Deepika's father, Prakash Padukone, opted for an off-white shawl over a white kurta and a dhoti. The former badminton star welcomed guests upon their arrival at the wedding venue.

The guests were transported by the Galli Giacomo & C boat service. Padukone's mother, Ujjala, was spotted in a silk sari with a floral bun to complete her look. Bollywood with love

The private wedding was a relatively free Bollywood affair, with only close family and friends going to the guest list. The wife of the actor Suniel Shetty, Mana (seen here), however, was among the participants.
Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Farah Khan and Aditya Chopra were also invited.
The couple will host a grand reception for their industry colleagues at the Grand Hyatt Mumbai on November 28th. Another reception for Padukone's family and friends will also take place in Bengaluru.
