On July 24, Lovato was hospitalized for 12 days in Cedars-Sinai, California, after an overdose at his home in Hollywood Hills, currently on the market for $ 8.995 million. She stayed in the hospital for nearly two weeks before being released for treatment.

Lovato concluded, "I now need time to heal and focus on my sobriety and my recovery path. The love that you have all shown will never be forgotten and I look forward to the day when I can say that I went out on the other side. I will continue to fight.
