Hof went to the elections in 2016 as a libertarian, but lost the race.
This year, he has run as a Republican and got the support of his partner Roger Stone and the activist at the Grover Norquist tax break.
He upset Nevada politics this summer when he removed the Republican legislator in place at a primary school, celebrating the event at an election night with "Hollywood Madam" Heidi Fleiss. .
But much of Nevada's establishment, GOP, avoided it.
He said that an anti-brothel campaign and that the regulatory problems he faced this year required political retaliation.
When Hof died, it was already too late to remove his name from the ballot. The ballots had already been printed and mailed.
Hof was charged with sexual assault at least four times, the last in September.
