Dennis Quaid calls Natasha Richardson "a beautiful person," says his death "devastated him"

Parent Trap star Dennis Quaid said he worked with the late Natasha Richardson in the film of the '90s.

The 64-year-old actor starred alongside Richardson as parents Elizabeth James and Nick Parker in the remake of 1961's classic "Parent Trap" with Hayley Mills.

In the film, the two eleven-year-old twin girls were brought together, and Lindsay Lohan played them in the latest version.

A little over ten years after the release of the film, Richardson, married to Irish actor Liam Neeson, died as a result of an accident while skiing in Montreal, Canada.

The actress 's bumped her head during a ski lesson, but went well after the accident, although she' s complaining of a sore ailment. head. She was then transported to a New York hospital where she died at the age of 45 from an epidural hematoma.

"When this accident happened, he just devastated me and so many other people," Quaid said. "She had such a beautiful love, she married Liam and two handsome boys. She always smiled when she came to work. It really affected everyone around her.

The actor "The Rookie" and the stars of "The Parent Trap" have recently made the headlines while the iconic film directed by Nancy Meyers was celebrating its 20th anniversary.

Quaid, who claimed to be a fan of the original film, is remembered to have played in the 1998 film and pondered the impact he had on families.

"Things are starting to go so fast. This film keeps going on and on, "said Quaid. "You know, the first one was done with Hayley Mills. I think I was about 10 years old when I saw him. Brian Keith played the role of father in this regard. Hayley Mills, oh my God, I had so much a crush on her. But, "The Parent Trap" was created at the time of the VHS. However, despite his initial insecurities about the role of the iconic president, he decided to assume that role and said he was eager to revive Reagan on the screen.

"Ronald Reagan fascinates me," he said. "And we share a few traits. He had an optimistic and sunny vision of life. And we are both actors. He has an amazing life story. A story I think most people do not really know. They think they know the man, but they do not know it.
