Daniel Cormier, heavyweight champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), will tell you that he's fighting Derrick Lewis as part of the UFC 230's main pay-per-view event (PPV), because the promotion was desperate for a headliner to fund and make them a solid one.

Jones took a win in the round of 16 against Cormier in their last fight, but his arrival was canceled after the US Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) hit him for Turinabol. "Bones" was also slapped with a reduced sentence that expired earlier this month.
He must now face Alexander Gustafsson in the main event of UFC 232, a title fight will be fought for Cormier's heavyweight strap – abandoned as a result of Lewis's fight – unless "Black Beast" does not bother the basket of apples this Saturday night (Nov 3, 2018) in New York.
