Independent receiver Dez Bryant would not be afraid of a meeting with the Dallas Cowboys.
Byrant, whom Dallas released in April, tweeted Tuesday afternoon that his first preference in signing would be a return in the Cowboys' uniform.

Bryant, 29, would certainly help the Cowboys' aerial attack, which ran out of punch during the first quarter of the season.
In the 5th week, the Cowboys' passing game ranks 30th in the league. Wide receiver Cole Beasley leads the team to receptions (16) and yards (185) on 21 targets, while wide receivers Tavon Austin's two touchdown lead the team. Austin, the tight space Geoff Swain and the attacking midfielder Ezekiel Elliott, who leads the team in the targets (22), are the only ones to score a touchdown.
Before the Cowboys broke with him during the off-season, Bryant had 531 total catches for 7,459 yards, an average of 14 yards per game and 73 touchdowns in eight seasons. He was a first All-Pro team in 2014 and a three-time Pro Bowl selection with the Cowboys.
The time spent by the wide receiver as a free agent resulted in visits to the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns, but no signature. Bryant used social media to provide updates on his status, while posting workout videos on his Instagram page to show that he stays in shape.
The question that arises now is whether the Cowboys want to recover Bryant or if the training videos will be enough to attract another team to bring him to the tour and possibly sign it.
