Drake's new album Scorpion should be released on Friday, June 29, and fans can not wait. On the eve of the release on Thursday, June 28, TMZ reported that Drake Scorpion will present an unpublished track of Michael Jackson. (Bustle reached out to Drake's representatives and Jackson to comment, but did not hear them immediately.) But wait – did Drake know Michael Jackson?
We do not know if the Canadian rapper has already met the legend of pop. he has, it does not seem that Drake has spoken publicly – but Jackson will appear on the double album Scorpion. TMZ reported that the song "Do not Matter To Me" is an unreleased song by Jackson, to which Drake rapped along. The report compared the sound of the song to the 2014 Justin Timberlake 's "Love Never Felt So Good", in which JT played with Jackson.
Earlier on June 28, Drake released Scorpion Scorpion which revealed that "Do not Matter To Me" would feature Jackson and that the double album also contained collaborations with JAY- Z, Ty Dolla $ ign, and Static Major. Scorpion also presents the singles "Nice For What", "God's Plan" and "I'm Upset".
Drake has long cited Jackson as one of his influences. In an interview with MTV News in July 2009, Drake remembered Jackson a few weeks after the death of the pop legend in June 2009. Drake said:
