Did Meghan Markle have a relationship with 1st husband?

Since Kensington Palace announced Meghan Markle was expecting her first child with Prince Harry, she was spotted on tour in Australia and the South Pacific proudly and lovingly caressing her growing baby bump.

It's clear that the new Duchess of Sussex wasted little time in getting pregnant with her royal husband. Meghan, 37, and Harry, 33, married in May, and royal watchers estimate that she's anywhere from three to five months pregnant, with Kensington Palace only saying she's due in the spring. Of course, it makes sense that Meghan would not want to wait too long to start a family that women's fertility typically starts to decline in their mid-late 30s.

But according to a new DailyMailTV report, Meghan did not need to meet. The U.S.-born television trainer Trevor Engelson, a friend told DailyMailTV.

And yet, there was a catch, the friend added. In September 2011, when Meghan and Engelson tied the knot in a beachfront ceremony in Jamaica, the TV career had begun to take off with the premiere of the legal drama "Suits."

With the show just getting off the ground, the girlfriend is about to come back to "celebrity shape" after the birth, said the friend, who has been told to be close to the duchess. Meghan also wanted to make sure she had a job.

"It came up at a time when they were considering," the friend told DailyMailTV. "(Meghan) knows the heavy-weighted body-type in the face of the dead."

"She asked for a personal trainer and nutritionist during the pregnancy," the friend continued to DailyMailTV. "I'm sure it's been discussed too, but the focus is on health and weight."

The Daily Mail reports that the United States, particularly in Meghan's hometown of Los Angeles. Presumably, intimate partners in U.S. urban centers like Los Angeles are affluent, career-minded and image conscious – enough to want such contracts.

Slate writer Rebecca Onion suggests in 2014 that such contracts make sense among people who are willing to sign up. A pregnancy contract – which can not be legally binding – can outline parents' expectations for having children, she explained. It can also be set for a periodic review of such issues as the division of household labor and childcare responsibilities.

For Meghan, the biggest issue was preserving her figure, her train friend asked.

No lawyers were involved in creating the informal document that Meghan wanted Engelson to sign, the friend said. The producer has had the choice of a friend, the friend added.

"She said she got it to say something, maybe just a handwritten letter that she could hang over her head," the friend said. "He knew he married someone who was very concerned about her image, and at times very insecure about her body, so he just went along with it."

The marriage only lasted two years and was affected by Meghan's move to Toronto, where "Suits" was filmed.

Author Andrew Morton wrote in his biography "Meghan: A Hollywood Princess" that Meghan abruptly ended the marriage in 2013 by sending Engelson her diamond engagement and wedding rings back by registered mail. The couple finalized their divorce in 2014, citing "irreconcilable differences," the Daily Mail said.
