Frenzy of the trailerA special place to find the latest movie trailers and TV shows you dream of.

This is not an exercise. We have Spock Beard.

Our first look at DiscoveryThe second year of the season consisted of reintroducing us into the iconic US Business. This last teaser gives us a glimpse of what Michael Burnham and the crew of the Business and the Discovery will be confronted, and there are many threats in the galaxy.

Just presented at the New York Comic Con (international viewers can view a version here), this latest look at Discovery gives us more insight into the mysterious signals teased in the original trailer – a track that Michael (Sonequa Martin-Green) is trying to discover, because his adoptive brother, Spock (played by Ethan Peck) took a leave unexpected after serving Captain Pike (Anson Mount) aboard Business to solve it himself. But the question that concerns everyone concerns less signals, and more … What's happening with this facial hair, Spock !?

Is it a surprise fashion choice? Is it a forerunner of the most infamous alternative facial hair ever, Mirror Spock's goatee? Hell, since last season ran in the mirror universe for his back half, could he even be Mirror Spock? Who can say, everything is happening in the wild world of Star Trek: Discovery.

But even then, there's so much going on beyond Spock's research (I've used this joke on this website twice now, and you know what? It's always good). We come to see more of the Business, including Rebecca Romijn at number one, and other members of Spock's mother (Burnham's adoptive mother), Amanda Grayson, played again by Mia Kirshner. Speaking of the mirror universe, we also see more things in the mirror version of Michelle Yeoh Phillipa Georgiou, the former emperor of the land empire became a member of section 31 of the secret branch of the Federation. I am sure that this will prove to be good.

Oh, and of course, the Klingons are back! And they have hair this time, including The Rell (Mary Chieffo)! It's a very hairy trailer, to be honest.

Star Trek: Discovery returns to CBS All Access on January 17 – meanwhile, the official Star Trek The website contains some new images from the series, including a better overview of the Panic! At the disco phase "Spock:

My God, there's a lot of hair on Vulcan's head.
