LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – A woman entered the lobby of Animal Kingdom Lodge early Sunday morning and claimed that a newborn was handed to her outside, but the child had turned out to be his, according to the office sheriff of Orange County County.
Around 2 am, the woman entered the hotel lobby and said that an unknown woman had just handed him the newborn, MPs said.
Reedy Creek firefighters responded and transported the healthy newborn to Celebration Hospital.

Investigators determined that the woman entering the hotel lobby was the mother of the child, according to Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Jeff Williamson.
The detectives located the woman and interviewed her. She was transported to an institution "for assessment and treatment," according to the sheriff's office.
Watch: What are the "Safe Haven" laws?
