The proper use of a microwave oven is currently under debate in Jacksonville, Florida.
A Florida service station owner has placed a sign in his store, asking customers not to warm up their urine samples in the microwave, noting that the oven is only used to heat food.
The owner, Parul Patel, said she had become "sick and tired" of people heading to her BP gas station and her On The Fly convenience store in Jacksonville to warm up their urine containers.
"These are just people walking randomly [in] and it's happening every day, "Patel told WJXX-TV in Jacksonville.
Warming the urine of a person who has not used drugs is considered by some as a way to help pass a drug test.
Patel's store is a short walk from two labs, but one does not say it does not take samples for drug testing.

People "go into the street, microwaving their urine containers and then leave," she said.
Patal said that a woman became aggressive a few months ago when she asked him not to warm up her urine. She asked to see a sign indicating that it is not for that. So she made one.
"She started swearing against me," Patel told the station. "She said," Well, where is the sign that says you can not use this for such purpose? That's what gave me the idea, "If that's what you're asking me, then I'll put the sign saying it's only for food consumption and not for use with your urine or what whatever else. "
In May, a Denver woman was suspected of having heated a urine sample in a 7-Eleven microwave oven and was cited for allegedly damaging the device. A store employee heard a "loud bang," officials said.
