Hyun-Jin Ryu got the start for Los Angeles and it was less-than-good: the Brewers scored four quick runs in the first, answering David Freese’s leadoff home run in the top half of the inning.

Wade Miley turned in a good start, pitching into the fifth, before Craig Counsell mixed and matched through the end of the game.

12:14 a.m.: Game 7.

12:12 a.m.: Burnes gets Puig to look foolish on a pitch off the plate. 

12:11 a.m.: Burnes gets Joc Pederson swinging. One away.

12:10 a.m.:  We start the ninth. Pederson up. Away we go.

12:06 a.m. END OF EIGHTH INNING:  Brewers are three outs away from forcing Game 7. Looks like Burnes is coming in to finish this off.

12:04 a.m. MILWAUKEE SCORING PLAY: Hill gets one out on a ground ball — they don’t turn the double play, and Jesus Aguilar with another RBI. 7-2 Brewers.

12:01 a.m.:  Rich Hill in the game, runners on first and second, no outs for Ryan Braun. Brewers care not for your time of game.

11:48 p.m.:  Corbine Burnes gets Bellinger to fly out to center to end the top of the eighth. Dominant series for Burnes.

11:45 p.m.:  Burnes gets two quick outs in the eighth, Bellinger up.

11:40 p.m. END OF SEVENTH INNING:  Domingo Santana strikes out on a Maeda breaking ball. Burnes coming in for the Brewers in the eighth.

11:38 p.m. MILWAUKEE SCORING PLAY: An Orlando Arcia ground ball advances the runners a base, and Jesus Aguilar scores on a Kenta Maeda wild pitch. Brewers up by four. 6-2 in the seventh.

11:27 p.m.:  Kenta Maeda on the mound for the Dodgers. Aguilar with a leadoff double in the seventh.

11:18 p.m.:  Time to stretch. Muncy down swinging. Jeffress looked overpowing that inning.

11:15 p.m.: So far so good for Jeffress, getting Dozier to pop out and Grandal to fly out.

11:08 p.m. END OF SIXTH INNING:  Game 6 heads to the seventh inning, and Jeremy Jeffress is in the game.

11:04 p.m.:  Floro out, Caleb Ferguson in in the sixth.

11:02 p.m.:  Dylan Floro in for the Dodgers now, and he’s through two outs in the sixth.

10:54 p.m.:  Corey Knebel works through the top of the sixth after hitting Joc Pederson. To the bottom. Brewers up 5-2.

10:45 p.m. END OF FIFTH INNING:  Alex Wood loads the bases but gets Knebel swinging to end the threat. Brewers up by three heading to the sixth.

10:32 p.m.:  Alex Wood is in the game now for the Dodgers. He issues a leadoff walk to Travis Shaw.

10:28 p.m.:  Knebel gets Machado swinging to end the threat. Feels like that could be 

10:26 p.m.:  Two outs and Machado is up. Machado is getting insane amounts of boos from the crowd right now.

10:16 p.m.:  Miley walks Muncy and Counsell takes out Miley. Knebel coming in. Runners on first and second, one out.

10:13 p.m. LOS ANGELES SCORING PLAY: David Freese (who else?) with an RBI double to bring home Brian Dozier. Brewers lead 5-2 in the fifth.

10:07 p.m. END OF FOURTH INNING:  Urías with an easy 1-2-3 inning in his first inning in this game. To the fifth.

9:58 p.m.:  Julio Urías is on the hill for the Dodgers now. Top of the order for him in the fourth.

9:55 p.m.:  Easy work for Miley. Brewers coming up, bottom four.

9:53 p.m.:  Miley has 69 pitches through two outs in the fourth.

9:47 p.m. END OF THIRD INNING:  No matter, Ryu gets a 1-2-3 inning to move to the fourth.

9:45 p.m:  Hyun-jin Ryu is still in this game. Dodgers waving the white flag, or trying to get length?

9:41 p.m.:  Miley makes quick work of the Dodgers in the third inning. Brewers coming up.

9:33 p.m. END OF SECOND INNING:  Ryu gets Moustakas to swing at a fastball for the third out. Brewers lead 5-1.

9:29 p.m. MILWAUKEE SCORING PLAY: Ryan Braun with a double to right center, Yelich scores. 5-1 Milwaukee in the second.

9:27 p.m.:  Christian Yelich lives! Hammers a one-out double to right center. 

9:21 p.m.:  Miley gets Freese to pop out to first to end the threat. Brewers coming up.

9:20 p.m.:  Two quick outs and Hyun-jin Ryu with a two-out single. Baseball is weird. First and third, two outs.

9:15 p.m.:  Chris Taylor with a leadoff single.

9:10 p.m. END OF FIRST INNING:  Well, the Brewers just went to town and picked up four runs. Let’s see how the Dodgers respond.
