COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State offensive line had its worst performance of the season Saturday against Minnesota. "Worse" being relative, as the Buckeyes finished with 504 yards in a 30-14 victory.
But Dwayne Haskins was sacked three times and Minnesota had nine tackles for the loss. The OSU run was under 100 meters for the first time since 2016 and has had its most inefficient performance since 2014.
The Ohio State 's offensive has more of a problem at stake, but one of them is the line play of the last two games, that' s it. it's a mid-season fight or something more important.
Neither Urban Meyer nor the offensive coordinator, Kevin Wilson, said staffing changes were a possibility on the offensive line, partly because of insufficient depth at the moment due to injuries. Branden Bowen, a departing from last year at the guard post, always comes back from a broken leg suffered last year. Brady Taylor, who is expected to be the starting center this year, still has not had a knee injury.
Both could be back pretty quickly, and then there are also young players who have not had their shot yet.
