The annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show recently debuted in New York City, sparking controversy. The lingerie models have been strutting the runway for the Victoria's Secret brand since 1995 and some are arguing the look of the models have not changed since. While many admire Victoria's Secret Models, the others have the lack of diversity and should include curvier models. Does the Victoria Secret Fashion Show lack diversity?
OUTLOOK
One Victoria's Secret Angel feels the runway was more diverse than it has been in years past. Fans were elated when they heard about 23-year-old newcomer Duckie Thot was going to strut the runway. The Australian model with South Sudanese roots is adored for her dark skin and beautiful figure.
Thot says Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is moving in the right direction. During an interview with Vogue Australia the model said:
"The industry has definitely made strides in terms of representation recently," she admits. "And I'm so glad to be a part of this change." "We need to make more progress.

Robyn Lawley is one of the most popular models in the world. On Change.org, a website that allows anyone to create a petition for change, the model wrote:
I did not feel like me, did not like me, and did not make me feel good about myself. I never felt like I was looking at myself through Victoria's Secret's lens.
Seriously, when will there be a lot of women in the Victoria Secret Fashion Show? They all have the same body. Real women, everyday women, are more diverse than that. (This does not mean I do not respect a lot of the show I do!)
