ANN ARBOR – It seems that every time Michigan Defense Coordinator Don Brown meets the media, he gives a lecture on what to say about his defense. Always good for an insightful quote, his time with the media on Wednesday was no different. While the Wolverines face off against Penn State Saturday, it's clear that Brown is ready for the future.

With The Michigan Insider live on stage, discover all that Brown had to say in the complete transcript below.

About the loss of Penn State last year

I said it and I do it. Some people are motivated by positive aspects, others by negative aspects. What motivates me is when I do not give players the best chance possible. I want to make sure to remember that. That's all you are trying to do, you are trying to give your players the best chance and I did not feel like I had done it. At the same time, you have to move on and learn from it. I think that's what happens in 41 years, you will win battles and there are some that you will not win. At the end of the day, you must improve and continue to improve.
