Earlier this year, Donald Glover and Rihanna filmed in Cuba. It seems that this film is the result of this effort: a film called "Guava Island" would have been screened at the festival PHAROS Glover New Zealand last weekend. The trailer fan video, published by Stereogum, appears below

The film, attributed to Glover's alter ego under the title "A Kid's Gambino Movie", was directed by his longtime collaborator, Hiro Murai, who worked with him on his FX Atlanta show, as well as on "This Is America" and "Sober" videos.

The clips present Glover and Rihanna in a seemingly idyllic setting: "We live in paradise, but none of us have the time or the means to live here," he says. The film also stars Letitia Wright and Nonso Anozie.

Glover representatives did not immediately respond to Variety's request for comment.

Glover announced that his next album and current tour "This Is America" would be his last as Childish Gambino.
