Donald Trump on Tuesday released a video thanking first responders for helping the victims of Hurricane Florence. But the president seemed to feed his comments, which included a line that instantly took life on social media.
"It's a difficult hurricane, one of the wettest we've ever seen from a water point of view," he said. "We have rarely had an experience like this and it's definitely not good."
The comment about how the storm was wet "from the point of view of water" made rain jokes on Twitter:
This guy just said "one of the wettest we've ever seen from a water point of view" in a pre-recorded video shoot and no one even bothered to make a recovery .
